South Sudan Crisis: Humanitarian Snapshot (as of 26 August 2014)
Status of displacement Since conflict broke out in December 2013, 1.7 million have fled their homes. Though many have crossed into neighbouring countries, most are still within South Sudan - many in remote rural areas. Displacement patterns are fluid, driven among other things by violence, access to emergency assistance and floods.
